Hi Tracy and welcome to 5 Star

My usual advice is ...... if it isn't broken - don't fix it smile.gif

To answer your question:
Drivers can be downloaded from the HP site.
However, your G6 has a range of options:

Pavilion g6-1000 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-1100 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-1200 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-1300 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-2000 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-2100 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-2200 Notebook PC series
HP Pavilion g6-2300 Notebook PC series

We would need to know which one.

Also the product number may help:

8 months between posts ??

I am having a few problems locating drivers from the HP site for your specific machine.

They do have an option to have their software scan your system and update the drivers.
This is located here - click here

Use "Detect my Product"

Alternatively post your Product Number ( see previous post )
